Really, I mean REALLY Bad Error Message

I spend way too much time in my life thinking about what is and isn't appropriate to say. We all do. I do it for software programs and web sites from time to time. Mostly developers will make an error but more times than not the error is in the hands of the user. We try to make messages that are helpful and not condescending. But this one is ridiculous.....

Where to Kayak in PA

I love to kayak so much I have two Otters, one for me and one for my wife. Just don't get the time to do it enough. We have gone to Marsh Creek a lot and the Brandywine and all the way to McGrath Pond in Maine. There is a group out there that takes trips in PA and NJ and DE and they have started a list of the places you can put in. Great resource if you are just getting started.

Anybody got a light?

Took the ladies to center city today to tour city hall. OMG, it was incredible. No not the tower. No, not the sculptures. What I was amazed with was the lack of caring this building has had. There are amazing murals hidden unders many layers of white paint. There are drop ceilings covering up beautiful tile. There are doors made of multiple woods and designs painted over. There are clerks working in incredible surroundings with the most dour looks. But not in the Mayor's reception room. No way. That thing has the gaudiness down to an art form. Sure we need to put a good face forward in that area. But on a recent trip to Chicago, we saw that the city takes care of the government buildings and shows them off. And it brings tourists and interested parties to check out what the city has to offer. Instead, we wonder how we can market the crap we have instead of just fixing what doesn't work. Michael Nutter - we are so doomed....
